My son doesn't like to paint and draw like the other children in his class. Is this normal? Should I worry?

Perhaps your young son (unlike his friends) shows no interest in paints, colors and getting messy, but instead prefers to spend long periods building elaborate structures with blocks. Take photos of his creations, print them and put them on your refrigerator or walls along with the art work. In this way he'll see that you value this form of imaginary play and creative expression just as much as the other kinds of art work.
