School Philosophy & Day in the Life

School Philosophy and Mission

"Da Vinci Academy provides intellectually gifted and talented students a unique educational community that develops a student's strengths, interests and potential. We offer a challenging curriculum focusing on the learning process, personal growth and self-direction enabling students to become productive leaders in an ever changing society.
Da Vinci Academy was founded specifically to serve the educational needs of gifted students. Children with exceptional academic and intellectual abilities need the right type of school and educational environment in which to thrive, and since opening its doors in 2000, Da Vinci Academy has worked toward being that kind of place. The school's philosophy, curriculum, faculty, and administration are all focused on serving families with gifted students. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which students have every opportunity to develop and realize the full potential of their skills, talents, and abilities. And as our students grow as thinkers and learners, we also aim to help them mature as leaders and citizens."
