To enroll your child all you must do is complete the registration forms, pay the registration fee, and have an updated medical checkup. if your child has had a physical within the last six months you may have your doctor just fill in the information needed. the physical is good for two years
checklist for the first day:
1. enrollment card, medical form, and personal information sheet completed.
2. registration fee and first week's tuition paid
3. complete change of clothing for child
4. sleepy friend and/or small blanket for rest time. |

of elementary school through our comprehensive curriculum.
1. Further development of self-esteem.
Before a child can relate to others they must first discover themselves. A child with positive self-esteem sees him or her self as a worthwhile human being. Positive experiences and praise have great impact on a child's future happiness and fulfillment. Children with positive self-esteem tend to learn more quickly and with less difficulty. They also have an easier time accepting and understanding the "academics" of reading, writing, and number readiness. This is the reason that A+ Day School considers the development of positive self-esteem to be the most important goal we can attain.
2. Development of socialization skills.
It takes opportunity and guidance to learn to function in a group and to develop the desired qualities of: sharing, helping others, understanding, and acceptance of each other's uniqueness. A+ Day School provides this opportunity and guidance as well as beginning experiences for the child to relate to adults other than parents. Development from an egocentric to a socio-centric view of life is fundamental to future development for a pre-schooler.
3. Love
This says something about the atmosphere at A+ Day School. We like to use such words as "warm", "secure", "respect for individuality", "concern", and "love" to describe it. Every attempt is made to give each child the feeling that they are loved and respected as an individual and human being.
4. Interactive Environment
Learning is not always an isolated affair, but generally occurs between individuals. A+ Day School provides the appropriate environment for children to express themselves verbally and emotionally to their peers. We provide an environment where children can interact with each other and in the process learn to share, cooperate, and get along with others.
5. Development of Skills and Concepts
We believe that children will learn the "academic" skills of reading, writing, and number concepts when they are developmentally ready to do so. We subscribe to this concept with the result that no child is forced to deal with these areas until they desire. Any child who does indicate an interest will be encouraged and worked with in such areas as language development, beginning math concepts, and many more.
6. Motor development
We provide activities to develop muscle skills on a daily basis. Playground activities, activity records, gymnastics, and dance are examples of some of the types of activities we provide to help develop large gross motor skills. Lacing games, puzzles, painting, manipulatives, and finger plays are examples of activities we provide to help develop fine motor skills.
