This school is great! I love the warm environment. The teachers are very polite and helpful. My son really enjoys to be in the school, learning and developing his skills and creativity. We love Pattycake Playhouse II

The school is very clean and has wonderful teachers that work hard to meet the needs of all its children; it is a little expensive as far as preschools go, but it is definately worth the cost.

I have no clue what the other parent that reviewed this school was seeing because Pattycake's facilities are the newest, most modern, and by far most clean of any daycare my husband and I visited. Our child has been there since he was 4 months old and now he is almost 3 years. We receive daily sheet on our child's activities, they conduct parent teacher conferences regularly and even have training for the parents from time to time! I usually don't even comment on these sites just place my rating, but the review I read was so inaccurate. We use the NY state OCFS website to help us weed out bad schools and Pattycake was one of few schools with NO violations during any state inspections, which the state assured me are "random and spontaneous" inspections of the facilities. We are pregnant again, and I don't even have to think about looking elsewhere for my next child's care. This school is not just a daycare, it teaches the children skills and tools to be advanced by the time they go to Kindergarten. I would say if you are looking for a strictly drop off for your kids and just want them to be supervised and run a muck, Pattycake isn't the place. If you want them to learn in a structured daily setting, and you the parent want to feel included in their development, than Pattycake is the place for you!

The teachers handle things rather well from what I have seen, they use something called "1,2,3 Magic" for behavior issues. They made training available for us parents at the school with a child psychologist expert lady.

The teachers are wonderful and kind to both me and my child. There is one teacher in the infant room who has been there for maybe 20 years and she is great, whenever an older child sees her they immediately run toward her and hug her. The toddler and preschool/preK teachers are just as great! Every time I walk through the school, they are interacting positively with the children and displaying a variety of the children's artwork.

My child is too young to have seperation issues, but I see the teachers handling other children's seperations with caring and kindness. It seems that the teachers will go to great lengths to make each child feel comfortable at school.

All their facilities are pretty much new. They just finished construction on new wing and full revamping of old wing. New furniture and tools throughout. Cleanliness is never one of my concerns when I drop my child off.

Everything is so clean at Pattycake! The whole building was just expanded, so everything is brand new and in great shape!
