"We at First Baptist Church Preschool believe preschoolers are active learners who assimilate information at different rates according to their stage of development. We further find them to be literal-minded, which defines the concepts they are able to understand. For those reasons, we offer them developmentally appropriate activities in learning centers such as art, music, manipulatives, discovery (science), and play. We strive to enhance our preschoolers' self esteem, develop their sense of independence and establish positive and practical social skills. Our curriculum is the Weekday Early Education Curriculum by Lifeway.
