School Philosophy and Mission
"Philosphy: The Methodist Preschool believes in providing a safe, friendly, and developmentally-appropriate environment to promote the growth of each child—socially, physically, emotionally, and intellectually. A carefully planned program exposes our children to materials and experiences that nourish development. Close parent-teacher contact supports the individual needs of each child and parent. We offer parent-teacher conferences twice a year and kindergarten readiness evaluation in addition. Our program includes Christian songs and visits from our United Methodist pastors, but we welcome families of every religious background to attend. Parents often choose Methodist Preschool for its small class size and its home-like setting, as well as for its curriculum that prepares children for success in kindergarten.
