Parents' Comments
Parent #1
The facility is very nice and the teachers are loving.
Parent #2
This school had a great foundation based on education, discipline, and a caring environment. Now, instead of teaching them respect for others and listening/cooperative skills they prefer to placate them with television and outside time.

My daughter was in the 2-3 yr old class. I had almost no communication with her main teacher. She worked 8-5. I had to drop my daughter off by 7:15 and was rarely able to pick her up before 6. There were attempts to get a 2nd regular teacher in the room, but they fell apart each time. One day, I picked my daughter up and she had a nickel size scab on her arm, which I noticed while putting her in the car. There was no report to me prior to this. I went in to ask if they knew what had happened. More than likely, it happened on the playground. I don't think she was mistreated in any way, but I expect a teacher to know when a student is injured and to give me information on it. After this, the teacher began to report my daughter as being in fights and disruptive in class often. One day, I had an appointment and dropped her off late. Before I could leave the room, the teacher had to give her a physical check to make sure she was not injured coming in. It was done with an attitude. I know this was this teacher's first and only year with the school. I believe it was more of a teacher issue than the school as a whole, but it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Director's Comments on Individualized Teaching
Parents' Comments
Parent #1
The teacher we are referring to is the only teacher our child has had at the school as he has been there about 1 year. The reason we put usually on the second half is not because of her but because she is not able to discipline the children who act out in a way that makes everything fair to the kids who are behaving. Basically the schools response, not the teachers, is to throw more bodies at the problem instead of actually teaching problem children a lesson and improving their behavior. The new director is against approaching or confronting any parents about what their children might or might not be doing as she is concerned about the numbers and dropping enrollment.
Parent #2
The teachers are very loving and assertive.
Discipline, Health and Safety
Discipline

| Parents at this school, on average, believe that conflicts between children:
are handled extraordinarily well in a way that not only gives me confidence in the safety of my child but also reassures me that my child (and his/her peers) are learning the early skills needed to socialize effectively with one another
