School Philosophy & Day in the Life

School Philosophy and Mission

"Islam is an integral part of our daily lives and therefore pervades the atmosphere of the school
Hadi School is absolutely dedicated to the physical, mental and spiritual health and happiness of the children in its care. Every effort is made to give the children a secure and home-like atmosphere. Our care-givers are chosen primarily for their ability to give the child genuine affection and expert attention
The children are helped to express Islamic attitudes and behavior proudly and openly
Our curriculum and philosophy are child-centered
Our teachers use and direct the God-given desire of children to learn
Our primary function is to provide the environment and encouragement that allow children to become God-conscious, self-directed learners and thinkers. Frequent field trips, hands-on materials, computers and other technology assist us in achieving this end
Aware that each child has something to offer, cooperative learning is emphasized
Cooperation is fostered by shared assignments, games and encouragement for students to help one another
Our conviction that each child is unique and individual in learning style and level of achievement is endorsed by this environment
Hadi School is an Islamic organization and parents should be aware that the religion of Islam pervades the atmosphere of the school However, Hadi School does not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, religion or handicap
