Director's Comments

Fellowship Preschool has an open door policy and we welcome parents to be a part of their child's preschool experience. Open House and Parent Orientation are offered each year. Social events for parents such as "Donuts for Dads" "Muffins for Moms" Thanksgiving Feast, End of Year Program, numerous fundraising opportunities and community outreach projects such as SPCA pet food drive and Macaroni and Cheese food drive.

Director's Comments

Children with separation difficulty are handled by the director and extra staff on hand to allow the teachers to continue with their classroom routines. Children crying for more than 20 minutes will have their parents contacted to deptermine how to proceed. Parents may select if they would like to pick up their child, or allow the staff to continue trying to comfort and engage the child in fun activities. This process will continue every 20 minutes.

Description of how teachers handle the following scenario: Child A and Child B are good friends and usually play together. One day, Child A decides to play with Child C and tells Child B, 'I don't want to play with you today. I'm playing with Child C instead.'

All children in Fellowship Preschool are friends and are encouraged to play together and be considerate of others feelings.
