School Philosophy and Mission

"Pre-K and Kindergarten curricula which are consistent with that used by the New Rochelle Public Schools.
Excellent student-teacher ratios.
Developmentally appropriate educational practices and materials.
Activities that enhance intellectual growth, critical thinking and discovery.
Excellent preparation in the basic readiness skills for success in further learning.
Computers in each classroom which are utilized to address individual learning styles.
A library which serves as a media center which includes a large selection of children's books, video tapes, computer software and opportunities for on-line use.
Field trips which include theater, museums, zoos and neighborhood places of interest.
In addition to excellent academic preparation provided for the children, equal emphasis is placed on the development of social skills. In a very nurturing environment, opportunities are provided for children to interact in a setting which includes family style dining. Designation of responsibilities encourages leadership skills and fosters the development of self-confidence."
