We offer many options for your specific child care needs. Whether you are a working parent, a single parent, a student, a work-at-home parent seeking preschool or social skills for your child... we have a schedule for your needs.
Our program is open to all of the wonderfully diverse families that choose parenting, indeed, the hardest job of all. Your child will be accepted and feel comfortable here whether your family is mixed race, foster or adoptive, have same-gender parents or any of the other unique parenting/family units that exist. Caring Connection's goal is to always be teaching children the reasons behind the rules..... every time we speak. Safe, kind and clean are the code words to this philosophy. Parents, children and teachers always work from the same core beliefs. What is so amazing is- how well it works!
At Caring Connection, the Safe, Kind & Clean philosophy is the ultimate companion to logical and natural logical consequences. We never use "Time Outs" as a form of discipline. We use involvement, interaction and reunification.

Description of how teachers handle the following scenario: Child A and Child B are good friends and usually play together. One day, Child A decides to play with Child C and tells Child B, 'I don't want to play with you today. I'm playing with Child C instead.'
Johnny gets frustrated and takes the truck from Ashley. Ashley is knocked to the ground and is injured or upset. the teacher will then intervene and involve Johnny in noticing that Ashley is hurt or sad. the teacher will point out the visual and auditory clues, "look she is crying", The teacher will say something like, "Johnny that was not kind to pull the toy from Ashley and not safe because she fell down. You need to help her feel better. What can you do"
Then, the teacher will assist Johnny in inquiring as to what Ashley needs to feel better. Does she need a tissue, a piece of ice or just to be helped up and brushed off?
Ashley is encouraged to say or communicate what she needs to Johnny. Johnny and Ashley will be seated next to each other while Johnny tends to her, giving her the attention that is now require. He upset or injury is the only priority. the teacher monitors them but leaves them to spend a few moments with each other....soon they will be chatting or giggling and the reunification of friends has occurred.
As soon as Ashley is "done" their task is completed and they can be on their way.
