Parents' Comments

A warm, loving environment with teachers who have been on staff for decades. That kind of experience and continuity is crucial for a superior preschool setting. My daughter is thrilled when it is a "school day". I know her transition into kindergarten will be smooth, and she has already started a hopefully lifelong love of learning. We love this school, and I could not recommend it more!

School Philosophy & Day in the Life

School Philosophy and Mission

"Brush Creek Nursery School's program is based on a child's need for both order and freedom of expression. We try to help each child discover inner strengths as he or she develops confidence in solving problems independently of adults.
It is the goal of Brush Creek's qualified staff to prepare children not just for kindergarten, but for life in a world that needs caring, resourceful people.
There is an emphasis on being part of a larger group and being sensitive to the needs of others. We encourage children to know and express their feelings in ways that get positive responses from others.
Our preschool is designed to provide an environment where the children can learn by doing. We strive to provide a large variety of situations in which children can experiment, gain confidence and learn. "

While play based, they set in in a structured stetting that gets the child used to the rigors of school. This allows for free choice and structured activities throughout the day.
