School Philosophy and Mission

"Our philosophy embraces cultural appreciation and multilingualism. Our children are encouraged to learn a second language to build the understand for broadening your awareness of others. Our language and communication at LLC includes American Sign Language (ASL). It is a natural language for children who talk with gestures to communicate their meaning from early ages. We have found ASL to be a wonderful support system to maintain attention and enhance children's understanding of word meanings. In addition, the children, family and staff love using ASL to communicate personally to compliment good choices and guide behavioral decision-making. Parent classes are taught in 6 sessions each semester. However, most parents report their children teach them ASL…all of the time! Our two year olds will amaze you…as will all of our precious children!"

Admissions Process

Acceptance criteria: We must place new requests for attendance on a waiting list. In an effort to bring extreme fairness to this process, we ask that each prospective family complete our initial children enrollment form and submit it with the deposit of $100 per child. Upon receipt, your name will be added to the next available spot with LLC
