School Philosophy & Day in the Life

School Philosophy and Mission

(excerpted from school's brochure)

The mission of Faith Lutheran Church and school is to fulfill the Great commission written in Matthew 28:20 "Go and make disciples of all nations by baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and by teaching them to observe everything I have told you. The special focus of the Early Childhood Center is to communicate the love of Jesus to the children and their families.

We believe that play is a child's vocation. It is through this medium that he/she learns to organize thought and action. The purpose of Lambs of Faith Lutheran Early Childhood Center is to give your child a Christ-centered environment to foster self-esteem and to develop emotional, cognitive, social, physical, and spiritual growth.

Parents' Comments

Parent #1
The 'predominately teacher-led' activities I am referring to occur during 'circle-time'. Stories are read and kids answer questions about them. The kids sing songs (led by the teacher) and finger-play along.
