School Philosophy & Day in the Life
School Philosophy and Mission
"It is our priority to give top quality preschool education. A child is born with internal motivation to learn, and they have unbelievable intellectual curiosity to grasp new things. With love and nurturing, a child is capable of learning more from infant to six years of age than any other time in their lives, and that's why its important to have first class programs. We want our children to develop a sense of trust in their environment, which should convey to children that this is a safe, comfortable place where everyone is respected. They have learned to understand, and speak before age three, so we need to continually expose them to new ideas and their learning, therefore, with some degree of organization and discipline, we will make a difference in that child's life."

Typical Day-In-The-Life At This School
We start our day with arrival time, where there are puzzles, play-doh or other manipulatives waiting for your child. We take this time to greet every parent. Circle time consist of calendar, pledge, bible verse, letter of the week, etc. Playground time is incorporated in our morning. After playground time, the children rotate to centers while the teacher works with small groups either with art or academics. Lunch and quiet time come next and we end our day with stories, songs and fingerplay.

Both teachers are excellent! They are engaged at all times!
Parent #2
We could not ask for a better teacher. She is incredible and genuinely cares for the kids.
Parent #3
The school could use a general activity room for the kids to play in when raining or too cold or hot to go outside. No art or music teacher.

Director's and Parents' Comments
Parents' Comments
Parent #1
I am not sure if my school has a parent/teacher conference. I feel like the communication between the teachers and the parents is good. I receive a note everyday about what my child has done at school. Sometimes the notes are specific to my child only.
Parent #2
At the beginning of the year orientation, our school did say they would tell us how our child has progressed.
Parent #3
This school was terrible with dealing with separation anxiety!!!! I actually overheard the teacher telling my son to quit crying and grow up. He was 3!!! We finally left when I dropped in mid day to drop something off and heard the teacher ask him "what's wrong with you...why are you crying? Quit it!" We left that day and didn't go back.
