School Philosophy & Day in the Life

School Philosophy and Mission

We at First Baptist Church Coppell wish to take this opportunity to provide your child with the physical care and spiritual training that will provide them a foundation for further growth in the church, in God and Jesus.

Typical Day-In-The-Life At This School

Teachers begin arriving at 8:00 to set up their rooms. At 8:30 staff meets to be briefed on events and to open in a word of prayer, dedicating ourselves and the day to the Lord. Our kids arrive at 9:00 and each room has a beginning activity. Throughout the day each class will attend music time and story time outside of their classroom. Weather permitting everyone goes outside for play and exercise. Each classroom has centers and much of the learning is done there. We use Scripture Bites Curriculum. Everyone brings their lunch and after lunch is nap time. The pre-k classes rest for a short time the first half of the year. A last activity is played while parents begin arriving to pick up at 1:45 pm.
