Parents' Comments
Parent #1
It is a great school with a small population. Heavy emphasis on the arts. We get to go on great field trips. The kids are loved and nurtured.

Parent #2
Strength: as far as security goes, there is a code that must be entered to open the door. If you donnot have the code, you must ring the bell to be let in. A full background check is done on any parent/grandparent who drives students to a fieldtrip. There is a plan in place for not only fire and disaster drills, but also if the school needs to be locked down for security purposes during a terrorist attack.

Because it is Montessori, there is always free choice at times with stations. I would say the teacher gives instructions and guides the children, but allows them to work on their own and explore.

Parents' Comments

Parent #1
We have an excellent art program with visual art, music and computer classes. Twice a year, the kids perform in a musical production. Because we are a Christian school, all children attend chapel on Wednesday mornings and study lessons from the Bible during class. The toddler class has children age 2 and 3 who are not yet potty-trained. The school is flexible about alowing a 3 year old to start with the toddler class in September and stay until they are potty trained before moving to the older preschool class. Days are also flexible (2, 3 or 5 days a week), and before & after-school care is offered. There is also a Pre-K class for 4 & 5 year olds who will be in Kindergarten the following year.

Our parent community encompasses all grades (age 2 through 5th grade, 6th grade beginning in 2007). Preschool parents and children are welcome and encouraged to attend all events. We also have 2 musical productions each year where the preschool students sing on stage before the elementary grades perform. Because our school has an extensive arts program, the preschoolers have the opportunity to attend visual art, music, and computer classes.
