School Philosophy & Day in the Life
School Philosophy and Mission
We believe the best preschool experience comes from providing opportunities for learning and growth through developmental, age-appropriate exploration, discovery, and hands-on experiences within a caring, relaxed, safe, Christ-centered setting.
We believe that positive expressions and attitudes should be used in guiding the behavior of each child to help him or her become a self-directed individual. We understand that each child is unique and special and has his or her own style of learning.
We integrate Biblical principles and practices into every aspect of the day and use the Bible as our guidebook for everyday living and learning.
Our curriculum has been planned and developed to provide a sound Biblical basis for stimulating the spiritual, physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and creative developmental areas of the preschool child.
We strongly believe in the importance of the family and home and view ourselves as an extension of the educational process of the home. As "team partners" working together, we feel we can help each child develop to his or her full potential on behalf of the parents, not in place of them.

Parents' Comments
Parent #1
My son is in the Sonshine program which is a mommy and me class. I really enjoy it and plan on sending him to preschool there next year. A lot of the questions aren't really applicable to us in this program. I also do not know what they will do at the end of the year because we have only been in the program 6 weeks. Some of the questions were challenging to answer.
Parent #2
It is very open and welcoming community.
