Parents' Comments
Parent #1
St. Richards is a special place. My child thrived there. From day one, she didn't want to come home at the end of the day. The school is so clean and inviting with the kids art projects on the wall. The classes are so fun - art, music, cooking, reading, special outing days etc. My 3 year old finished the year being able to write not only her name, but all the alphabet and many numbers. She also is doing entry level phonics. Socialization is GREAT!

School Philosophy & Day in the Life

School Philosophy and Mission

St. Richard’s Episcopal Preschool’s program is designed based on Christian values and current knowledge of how young children learn. We provide a variety of experiential and creative learning opportunities for the children to make choices and problem solve in the context of a safe and loving Christian environment. The preschool is an inclusive place for a diverse community of learners. Our goal is to encourage life-long learning, and develop the whole child; spiritually, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.

very good balance of structure/free play. There are very specific written weekly curriculum goals for reading, math, science, art etc. that are given to parents weekly. All these lessons are fun for the students and are interactive.
