GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

The goal of the Butterfly Christian Preschool is to provide the child with an atmosphere of Christian love conducive to creative play and exploration of the child’s world. Emphasis is placed on the child’s Christian education, social development, mental development, communication skills, and creativity. The Preschool will strive to make school a positive, growing experience.

The Preschool meets these objectives by providing opportunities for each child to participate in group and individual activities. These include: dramatic play, skill building, science exploration, creative arts, readiness skills, creative movement, outdoor play, free choice activities, music, literature, and chapel.

GUIDANCE TECHNIQUES We believe that when children are provided with a loving, caring, environment, designed to accommodate their needs, to encourage cooperative play, and to accept their personalities, they will be secure and happy. Teachers will use a variety of positive techniques to help children adjust to the classroom experience. PARENT INVOLVEMENT Parents are encouraged to participate in structured and unstructured meetings with other parents and with the teachers. Parent-Teacher conferences are held during February and at any other time the parent or staff feels the need to talk. Another way parents participate is through providing snack for their child’s class once a month.

Notes

Our classes meet from 9:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. There is an extended care option which three year olds and four year olds may choose to attend on either Tuesday or Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 for an additional $30.00 per month (must be potty-trained). The Preschool follows the Eanes ISD calendar. Monthly fees are pro-rated to include all school holidays. Refunds for sickness, vacations, or other temporary absences are not given
Registration Fee: $75 18 mon & 2 yr old $85 for 3 yr olds & 4 yr olds
An annual, non refundable, registration fee is due at the time of registration. At registration, or on May 1st, a deposit of tuition for the following May is due. The May tuition deposit is refundable for students who withdraw only if the child's space is filled within one month, and the refund will be pro-rated depending on the length of time the space was unfilled. Included in the 3-year-old and 4-year-old registration fees is a school t-shirt.
