School Philosophy & Day in the Life
School Philosophy and Mission
At Hand-in-Hand we strive to provide a well rounded atmosphere where children's emotional, social, cognitive and physical needs are met.
GOALS:
Mother's Day Out - 2-3 Years:
Our main goal for this young age group is to make them feel comfortable away from home, in a school setting. We will work on large and small motor skills, language development and color recognition.
Preschool - 3 -4 Years:
We will work with this group on lengthening their attention span, recognition of numbers and letters, science, math, language development and definition of motor skills.
Pre-Kindergarten:
We will meet the very important challenge of preparing these children for Kindergarten. Math, science, eye-hand coordination and sequencing are just a few of the skills these children will begin to master.
Typical Day-In-The-Life At This School
Start with open centers in classroom or outside, then snack; music or art; lunch (parents bring)

Parents' Comments
Parent #1
Hand in Hand is not located near my house so I cannot comment on how often other parents and children get together outside of school. I have had 2 children attend and they have both loved it.
