Director's Comments
Question to director: Do you have any additional thoughts on what parents should consider when looking at your school? Is there any advice that you would like to provide to prospective parents?
I'd like to thank you for your interest in Our Lady of Good Counsel School's Early Childhood Center. We are very proud of our school and its programs. Our certificed teachers will provide a secure and loving learning environment for your little ones. You will find very little teacher turnover here, and your child will be able to develop a long-lasting relationship with his or her teachers.
We are dedicated to teaching Christian values, as well as academics, social skills and physical fitness. We believe that showing love and respect for one another is most important, and we welcome families from all religious affiliations and cultures.
We have a very clean and well-maintained facility, as well as an enclosed playground with a safe, rubber surface and brand-new play equipment. Your child's safety and security is our top priority.
Again, thank you for your interest in sending your child to join our family here at Our Lady of Good Counsel. Feel free to visit our school website, www.olgcnj.org, for photos and stories about our students. If you have any questions, or would like to arrange for an interview, please give me a call or send me an email.
Sincerely,
Sister Rosemarie

Parents' Comments
Parent #1
Full-day kindergarten really helped prepare my children for grade school in academics and socialization. They absorbed Christian values and respect for others. Today, they are in 7th and 4th grades and are constantly challenged to achieve both in academics and service to others.

We strongly suggest that interested parents register during Catholic Schools Week, which is always held during the last week of January. Students already enrolled are guaranteed a position in the next grade. Notification of new students will take place in the spring, usually by the end of April.
Summer camp is held for one-week sessions in July. Children are encouraged to attend to acclimate to the school environment.
