a parent interview is required. parent tours and interviews are given on mondays through thursday beginning in october by appointment only. please call the admissions office at ext. 3500 to schedule an interview and tour.
as part of the admissions process, your child will be invited to an hour-long play group screening session. children will be engaged in a series of age-appropriate activities, and parents may remain with their child if necessary. please note: students' birthdays must occur before september 1 of the year for which they are applying.

"The Lower School offers an after-school recreational program, D-E Explorers, for students in preschool through the fifth grade. It provides two kinds of offerings: an after school playgroup and semester-long classes. D-E Explorers Club, the after school playgroup, offers supervised playtime, quiet time for homework and various planned activities. The D-E Explorer classes meet once a week for a semester and have included such offerings as Dance & Tumble, Arts & Crafts, Kung Fu, and Design-and-Make Science Projects. The program is offered until 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, on all days when school is in session.
