RHM provides an environment for loving onesself and thus the love of learning and loving others. The two years my daughter has shared with RHM's staff has been perfect in everyway. Grand trees and vegitaion provide a calm loving space for the children while they discover who they are and what they are. experience it for yourself.. WOW

RHM is a cozy yet structured environment for its students. my daughter, age 3, has absolutely loved going to school since day 1 almost a year ago. The teachers are incredibly patient with their students, but do push them to work toward the the child's next goal withint the classroom. I credit RHM for my daughter's ability to write her name, numbers, and her zeal for "working" very hard. She wakes up many mornings and says "buenos dias, mommy" having been taught Spanish at school. My daughter adores her teachers and all of the friends she's made at the school. Top notch.

The Montessori philosophy allows a child to develop at his or her own pace, with encouragement and "work" provided by the teacher. Their work is supervised, but not in the way that non-Montessori schools do it. The children are allowed to choose a lot of what they "work" on, which gives them a sense of independence also. It's a great way for young children to grow on their own.

I know that if I'd like to drop in at school to check on my child, I'd be welcomed. However, the teachers encourage us to not disrupt the daily routine by dropping un unnannouced and then leaving. It disrupts the child's day and they'll begin to expect their parent to come see them every day. I believe in this philosophy, and have not dropped in on my child's school day. I think it also provides her with an understanding that the school is her special place, and she's secure and confident there.
