School Philosophy & Day in the Life

School Philosophy and Mission

Kiingdom Kids seeks to provide an excellent academic, spiritual and social atmosphere to help young ones thrive. Every activity we do is centered around the Bible as the foundation for living, and our goal is to "equip our students to impact the world for Christ."

Typical Day-In-The-Life At This School

Our day begins with the Pledge of Alliegiance, Prayer, and calendar time, followed by Bible lessons. We do art and activities that reinforce the letter or emphasis of the week.
We have many learning center stations around the classroom which encourage students to use their senses to explore their environment. Children learn best by doing, so we have activities geared toward making learning fun and enjoyable. We play on our wonderful enclosed playground every day that the weather permits. Our preschool has the privilege of being attached to the Christian elementary school, so we have access to a full library, Spanish class and gym class as well.

Quality of Teaching

Director's Comments on Individualized Teaching

Individualized Teaching

Description of how teachers work with children who are
"behind," "excelling" or "different" from the majority of students

Because our environment is so richly diverse, every students is challenged to explore his/her environment. Our teachers have a wealth of experience,
and many opportunities to seek help from other educators within our building.

Home School Connection

Director's Comments

Our school participates in RENWEB which allows parents to go online to access school information and our weekly newsletters. We have parent/ teacher conferences every fall, and teachers are always willing to spend time with parents to discuss special needs of students. Our school has many Open House opportunities, and encourages parents to get involved in the school life!

Separation

Beginning of the year separation is handled through:
- Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
