Quality of Teaching

Director's Comments on Individualized Teaching

Individualized Teaching

Description of how teachers work with children who are
"behind," "excelling" or "different" from the majority of students

Small class size allows children optimum individualized attention. Each child's strengths and weaknesses can be addressed. Parent communication is a priority!

Home School Connection

Director's Comments

Student artwork and classwork is sent home. Weekly and monthly calendars of upcoming events and newsletters are a regular part of our communication. Quarterly assessments are sent home with parents. Teachers are always available to parents.

Director's views on diversity:
Children are amazing in their varying shapes and sizes. All children develop is a somewhat different rate. By law, those wishing to enter Kindergarten after 4 yr. old preschool should be 4 by December 1. It is recommended that they turn 4 at least by the summer.
