"We are interested in child care because we have a great love for children. They have a true innocence about them and thirst for love and knowledge. Children truly are our future and we believe that the formative years are the basis to our future.
Our personal goals of child care are to strive to do our best for children. To teach children love and respect for one another and for life itself. To watch a child reach out and mature at their own rate, more socially than intellectually. We believe intellect will come to a child naturally and when they are ready. Social skills are the basis to a happy, successful life. These are the skills that need to be nurtured, to be free and challenged individually. These are the skills that need guidance, patience, understanding, and positive reinforcement.
What we hope to get out of child care is a little person's love and respect, for themselves and others. To someday watch that child reach out to someone in need. To have that child remember his pre-school teacher put that Band-Aid on his knee and how much better it felt. To see a smiling, loving, confident young man or woman achieve his highest personal goal; be it a doctor or wonderful mother. The satisfaction of knowing the child grew knowing they were loved for who they were. To know that they were important no matter what they did or did not achieve, to know they were wanted and they wanted back.
We are interested in being Early Childhood Teachers because we can make a difference in a child's life. We believe a child can make a difference in our lives. The child care teacher is often thought of as just a babysitter by society, but a child care teacher holds the future in the palm of her hand. We would like to share as many curious, bright, loving little lives as we can in our lifetime. We would like to share as much love with children as we can. We wish each and every little life that passes through our doors every year all of the happiness and success they can achieve.
