Day in the Life

General School Mission

"Our main objective at Playful Kids is the promotion of the welfare of our students. At Playful Kids Learning Center, we strive for the following:

To provide each student with an environment that is warm, nurturing and safe;

To encourage each student to develop a healthy self-image and a positive self-esteem;

To provide an environment where children can be children and enjoy learning about, exploring, and discovering their surroundings;
To provide each student with an opportunity to develop their own capabilities and interests according to their individual needs and talents.

We will not only care for the children that attend our Center, but actively teach them about the world as well.

We believe that:

1. All children are individuals with individual needs
2. A child's early learning & development is multidimensional
3. Expectations for children must be guided by knowledge of child growth & development
4. Children are individuals who develop at various rates
5. Children are members of cultural groups that share developmental patterns
6. Children exhibit a range of skills & competencies within any domain of development
7. Children learn through play & the active exploration of their environment
8. Parent's are children's primary & most important caregivers & educators
