General Approach to Learning: Play-Based, Teacher-Led

From the Director:

We use The Complete Daily Curriculum for Early Childhood by Pam Schiller and Pat Phipps. This curriculum offers a complete plan for every learner. Activities are organized by themes and learning centers for many learning styles. We use the Poetry Pals curriculum to enhance early literacy skills and phonological awareness (the study of speech sounds) in children. It also offers opportunities for oral language development. Our music program consists of diverse artists and techniques. Arts and crafts are developed for each theme, center, season, and holiday. We take field trips, and the Princeton Club has offered the use of the gym and rooftop soccer field when available. Additionally, Bible stories and prayer before meals are incorporated into our curriculum. We strive to bring excellence to our child care.

Day in the Life

General School Mission

Childhood is a world of wonder and discovery. Children need an environment rich in experiences, play, education, and the influence of many different people. They need a place of their own where they can feel secure, valued, and special. Kids Junction is a learning center that teaches the basics of Christian morals and character.
