Philosophy & Approach

Day in the Life

General School Mission

"We believe that all people are created and redeemed by a just and loving God. The Bible is the true Word of God by which he makes known to us his plan of salvation. By nature we are all sinful and in need of God’s forgiveness. Out of love for us, God sent his only Son, Jesus Christ, to be our Savior from sin, and brings us to faith through the work of the Holy Spirit. (2Tim.3:16, Ro.6:23, 5:6-8) God has instructed us through his Holy Bible to teach this message to all. It is God’s will that we all know of his love and mercy through Jesus Christ. Therefore, we want to reach out to our preschool children and their families with the Word of God and nurture their faith in Jesus our Savior.
We believe that each child is a special, unique gift from God and that God has given parents the primary responsibility for the nurturing of their children. (Eph.6:4) Therefore the Zion ECDC exists to support and encourage parents in this most important task. We are pleased that you have enlisted our help and know that cooperation between the home and ECDC is absolutely necessary for the welfare of the children. We will carry out this ministry by helping preschoolers grow as children of God and by helping their parents in their Godgiven responsibilities.
All our agencies of Christian education (preschool, school, Sunday School, Bible classes, youth programs) have a common goal, to support and reinforce Christ-centered education. We believe these goals are shared by parents and teachers and that you have brought your children here to be in a Christian environment. This environment is designed to educate your child for this life and eternity. We want to strengthen the home-church
relationship by strengthening each family’s relationship with their Savior."
