Day in the Life

General School Mission

We offer a Waldorf-inspired program, supported by a strong community of families, featuring outdoor play and walks, celebration of the seasons, self-directed imaginative play using natural materials, organic snacks, and stories, singing, art, carpentry, gardening.

A Typical Day

Outside Play - walks, climbing, ball games, jump rope, carpentry, gardening
Circle - gathering for a welcome, singing seasonal songs, stories recounted orally acted out or presented with puppets
Artistic Activities - drawing, painting, clay, baking, sewing, candlemaking, seasonal crafts
Free Play - developing and using imagination, creativity, cooperation, compassion
Organic Snacks - warm, wholesome grains, fruits, vegetables
Field Trips & Events - pumpkin patch, lantern walk, festival of light, spring festival, Kubota Gardens, beach trips, Bradner Gardens
