The first few years of life are the most crucial in an individual's development. It is at this stage that proper foundations for later development are laid, skills are learnt, and values and attitudes are formed. KinderCare devises innovative and interesting ways of learning. They provide the toddlers with a world scaled to his/her level. Ample companionship of his/her age. Their schools are modeled as support structures for nuclear families with Day Care and Creche facilities.

Philosophy & Approach

School Philosophy

General Approach to Learning: Play-Based, Teacher-Led

From the Director:

Early Foundations® Preschool. Preschoolers' worlds open up in new ways. They are improving coordination, beginning to combine ideas and learning more complex games, all while learning about themselves and each other. Our Early Foundations preschool curriculum introduces language, math, science and social skills in a logical, natural sequence to encourage learning one step at a time. Our teachers also provide plenty of individual attention to support your child's unique needs. Our program provides a rich classroom environment where children are encouraged to explore and are challenged to learn, while making friends and developing self-confidence. They strengthen their cognitive skills with fun memory games where they match objects that share similar characteristics. And because they learn by doing, we provide opportunities for hands-on experience, such as creating collages, which combines creative expression with a tactile experience. Features: Your child will develop math and science skills with our hands-on experiences. Thematic units encourage curiosity, self-direction and confidence. Daily language experiences are introduced to support literacy and language development. Observation-based assessments are used to monitor learning. Portfolios are used to collect your child's work and capture learning. You will enjoy regular communication with teachers so that you are informed about your child's day.

A Typical Day

Each day, KinderCare provides a balanced approach to learning, giving parents the peace of mind that children will have fun as they develop socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. KinderCare gives your child the tools to become confident and self-aware. In a caring and stimulating atmosphere, passionate and engaging teachers give your child endless opportunities to grow, learn, and imagine -- whether building a spaceship to blast off to Mars or inviting a new friend to share a story during group time. While academics play a role in development, we believe there are many other opportunities for enhancing the whole child.

Handling Separation: From the Director

The anxieties a child may feel at drop-off time are completely normal -- and so are the parents'! It's encouraging for parents to know that there are many positive (and peaceful) ways to say goodbye at school that will help build a child's confidence.
