A Typical Day

"Our Day at School
Circle We begin and end our day with a circle time, inviting each child to participate in stories, music and poetry. We talk about our day and learn more about our monthly theme.
Activities Our day includes an activity time when the children, with the help of their teacher, explore:
Art, Music and Movement
Science, Geography, Zoology and Botany
Practical Life (cooking, etc.)
Sensorial Shapes, Colors and More
Math and Language

Snack Snack is offered each day. This is an opportunity for the children to socialize with friends and practice grace and courtesy.
Outdoor Play Sammamish Learning Center is situated in a natural, park-like setting, with a large grass field and adjoining barn. Gardening and outdoor exploration in our secure play area will also be a part of your child�s daily learning experience.

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

At Sammamish Learning Center we invite parents to join us in the classroom if they wish. We also hold special family events throughout the year, such as Pumpkin Carving Night, Friendship Festivals, and our end of year Carnival.
Each month in our school newsletter we include a Partnership with Parents article to support family engagement and children's learning.
