Philosophy & Approach

Day in the Life

General School Mission

"The goal of every school experience should be to foster a life long love of learning. All children learn best when learning is fun, interesting and meaningful. Each child comes to our school with a wide range of skills and interests. It is my job as Director to create an environment in which the unique qualities of each child can flourish.

A developmentally appropriate curriculum focuses on the growth areas of children.
These include:
Physical (fine and gross motor)
Cognitive (pre-academic skills)
Emotional and social
Language skills (listening and speaking)
Enrichment (music and art)
Our theme-based curriculum encourages exploration in the areas of art, large and fine motor skills, music, cooking, drama, science and kindergarten readiness. Ours is not a competitive, achievement-oriented environment, but one that builds strong emotional and social skills, childhood friendships, self -confidence and positive self-esteem.
