"We believe that children learn best through hands-on, play-oriented activities. If we want children to become successful learners they must be given opportunities to think independently, problem solve situations and cooperate with adults and other children. Through interaction and observation of their environment children gain the abilities that enable them to develop physically, socially, emotionally, creatively, cognitively and spiritually. The evnironment is set up in ways that encourage children to explore, experiment and discover as they interact with other people, materials and the world around them. Safe secure children feel comfortable to freely express themselves. They are encouraged to do so, in an appropriate manner. Children need to learn from experiences so they can construct meaning and learn and grow at their own rate. Each child is a unique individual and should be regarded as lovable and capable of learning.
