 A confident individual
We accomplish this by:
Establishing a learning community that develops, supports and encourages positive social skills and
Providing experiences that enrich student learning and instill in students a broad and comprehensive
understanding of the world

A Typical Day

Our pre-k students start the day with learning centers where they explore, play and learn in all the content areas including art, literacy, dramatic play, sensory table, science observations, and writing. During this time the teacher pulls for small group instruction in math, science, and language skills. Students participate in whole group calendar time, singing, poems, and shared reading. They also attend Spanish every day, Art twice a week, and physical education classes. Our students take many field trips throughout the year which correlate with the current theme.

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Small group sessions
  • Extra staff dedicated to handle separation
