"Good preschool education seeks to develop the whole child. Mentally, physically, socially, spiritually...
In partnership with parents, Memorial's early childhood programs focus on the optimal development of the whole child. We offer three opportunities to give your child the "Advantage Year". The advantages are many, but our special strength is that we limit all classes to no more than 15 students to ensure individualized attention from experienced, certified teachers.
Our program follows the principal that "play is the child's work." In an enriched environment, skillful teachers guide a child to learn by doing. Activity centers help each child to develop new skills, small groups focus on the socialization and direction following aspects of learning. Arts, crafts and drama provide opportunities to try different media, materials and roles. Field trips enable children to look beyond the home and school, to see their place in an expanding community. Christian principles are "discovered" in stories from the Bible and practiced in daily interactions."
