From the Director:

We teach in a developmentally appropriate manner giving children the opportunity to learn and explore based on pre extablished learning themes like "The Rain Forest." There are opportunities for emergent learning, social development and school readiness activities.

Lessons are open ended and broad enough so that every child is given an opportunity to grow and develop from those that are excelling to those needing additional help and encouragement. Teachers incorporate a variety of teaching styles to reach every learner.

Highland Christian School seeks to provide a beginning learning experience in a Christan environment where every child is loved, respected, and valued for his/her uniqueness. We seek to provide a balanced curriculum that focuses on the physical, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual needs of the young child. All are welcome.
