General Approach to Learning: Teacher-Led

Day in the Life

General School Mission

The French Immersion School of Washington is a non-profit, bilingual day school for all children aged 2 1/2 to 11 years old. The school adheres to the curriculum of the world-renowned French Ministry of Education while exceeding American scholastic standards. The FISW mission is to provide an excellent bilingual education in a welcoming environment that encourages critical thinking and curiosity.

A Typical Day

Depending on the child's age and grade, they spend their day in a variety of activites. Everyday, all students learn in both English and French, with the majority of the day in French. Our school is accredited by both the French Ministry of Education and Washington State, and students are taught both French and American curriculum.
