Day in the Life

General School Mission

"At Courthouse Christian Preschool & Kindergarten (CCPK), our goal is to provide children with a safe, loving, nurturing, and Christian based environment. CCPK is dedicated to the total development of the growing child and is committed to educating using a developmentally appropriate program. CCPK will provide a stimulating learning environment that will help to foster each child's natural instinct to learn. Classroom schedules will be designed with a balance of structure and free choice, as well as active and quiet time. Classroom experiences will encourage each child to be actively engaged in their own learning and will focus on the process rather than the product helping to foster a sense of accomplishment and pride for each child. CCPK will grow disciples in a Christian environment that encourages children to exceed their potential, builds a love for learning, and fosters a positive self-image. This will allow all children to meet the challenges of tomorrow.

Separation

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Extra staff dedicated to handle separation
  • Abbreviated schedule at start of school year

Handling Separation: From the Director

We handle seperation issues on an individual level. We have had success using many different techniques, but we decide what is best based on the individual child and family.
