Philosophy & Approach

Day in the Life

General School Mission

"Based on the belief that children learn through play and meaningful experiences, the teachers plan and prepare a wide variety of center-based learning activities for the children to investigate first-hand. Components of the curriculum include the development and reinforcement of social awareness, self-discipline, independence and safety, literature and language and language skills, math, science, art and creative expression, movement, and fine and gross motor strengths. In addition, resource teachers in the areas of music and woodworking are integrated into the program, Spiritual growth and development is reinforced in the weekly chapel program offered to all preschool children.
An outstanding church facility benefits each of the programs. Interesting, inviting, and innovative classrooms provide endless opportunities for learning and foster the young child's cognitive physical, social/emotional and spiritual development. Classes are kept small to maximize the learning experience. The spacious outdoor play area with climbing equipment, as well as the indoor gymnasium, provide excellent opportunities for play and gross motor development."
