Day in the Life

General School Mission

Our desire is to help your child grow throuh many Christian-based experiences and to be his or her best self. We are concerned with every area of your child's development; including social, physical, emotional and intellectual.

A Typical Day

Children are welcomed into the classroom with a variety of acitivites. Freeplay is always a favorite time for all. Circle time, arts & crafts follow with special empathesis on academics.
Weather permitting, each day will include outside fun for preschoolers. Our "Bunnies" & "Bears" bring their own lunches and enjoy visiting with friends during this time.

Home-School Connection

Parents Say They are Encouraged to:

  • Sit on the board of trustees
  • Fundraise
  • Are able to visit the school anytime we want
  • Go on field trips
  • Volunteer in the classroom

Modes of Communication

  • Notes
  • Phone Calls
  • Email
  • Drop-Off
  • Pick-Up
  • Regular newsletter/printed updates circulated to the whole school

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Parents in classroom early on
  • Abbreviated schedule at start of school year

Handling Separation: From the Director

Our schedule begins with parent/child first day.
Parents are encouraged to stay with their child on the first day and walk them into the classroom for the next two weeks. On the third week of school, we start the "Kiss & Go" program where preschoolers are met at their parents cars and walked into the building by a staff member.
