Quality of Teaching

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

Our four year old classes breaking into level based groups for phonics and early reading instruction. This allows our teachers to focus on each groups skill level and needs.

Day in the Life

General School Mission

Our Christian Curriculum is based on information and requirements from the local elementary school. It incorporates pre-math, pre-reading, phonics, history, science, social skills, and character development.

A Typical Day

In addition to classroom instruction and centers, our program offers computer and library for our 3 & 4 year old classes. 2, 3, & 4 year old classes have music and PE each week. The children are provided a healthy snack each day. Throughout the year we have exciting art projects, theme days, and filed trips to nearby locations.

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

Teachers email the parents each week with information on the upcoming week's curriculum and activities. This as well as monthly events can also be accessed on our website. Student assessments are conducted twice a year and progress reports are subsequently sent home. Each day a folder is sent home with completed work and teacher communications.

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Extra staff dedicated to handle separation

Handling Separation: From the Director

We encourage parents of more anxious children to visit often before school begins in the fall. Our 2 year old class has an assistant teacher who helps our youngest students, and the director, herself, helps older students who are struggling with separation anxiety.
