The above choices do not really apply to our teaching style. We incorporate teacher-led instruction, independent learning by the child, small group learning and many activities that support the curriculum being taught.

Day in the Life

General School Mission

Achiever Preschool helps children in academic, social, emotional, artistic and musical areas to help them prepare for a positive kindergarten experience. Our curriculum is well-rounded and caters to the needs of the 3, 4 and 5 year old students. The children are challenged to learn and grow in all areas.

A Typical Day

Circle time-45 minutes: This included the calendar, the pledge, show and tell, music, dramas, stories, etc.
Group time-the children are divided into 3 groups and do a 25 minute rotation to all groups. We include free play, art and snack, and small group learning time. Children are taught on their level and are constantly encourage to learn and grow.
The last 1/2 hour includes different activities depending on the day. We work on science units, outdoor play, story time, etc.
