"Trinity School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school encompassing Grades K/4 through Twelve. It is an independent, nonprofit institution governed by a self-perpetuating Board of Trustees and actively supported by a strong parents' association. Trinity School seeks to enroll students of good character, of any race, religion, or economic background who have the interest and ability necessary to perform superior academic work.
Trinity School is founded on Christian principles with its roots deep in the heritage of the Episcopal Church. Its philosophy reflects the influence of the Judeo-Christian and classical traditions, including emphasis on personal responsibility and integrity, intellectual and physical excellence, and high moral and spiritual values. The school endeavors to provide a carefully ordered environment designed to lead each student to develop his talent, self-discipline, knowledge and purpose. Trinity believes this must begin with furnishing each student with clear expectations regarding acceptable behavior and academic achievement. The traditional classroom, a daily chapel program, and comprehensive, constructive evaluation serve as a general pattern for instruction.
Trinity School is committed to excellence in academic subjects, the arts, and athletics. The basic curriculum promotes the mastery of reading, writing, and mathematics and is enriched by instruction in the sciences, social studies, fine arts, classical and modern foreign languages, computer technology, and a comprehensive physical education program. The student is served by dedicated and talented teachers, each of whom is expected to exemplify the standards of the school and to foster its purpose.
