Day in the Life

General School Mission

We are dedicated to the philosophy that young children grow in an orderly and sequential manner with predictable stages of development. We recognize that each child is unique and accept each child at their current stage of development. It is our intention to nurture the development of the whole child รข?? physical, emotional, social, cognitive and spiritual growth.

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

A monthly newsletter is sent home highlighting school activities.

The teachers also send home weekly and monthly calendars and newsletters. Emails are sent as needed.

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Extra staff dedicated to handle separation

Handling Separation: From the Director

We encourage our parents to let their children know that school is a fun and safe place to be. Often a positive attitude on the parents behalf is all that is needed.

We do not feel that children should spend a lot of time crying at school. We work with parents and develop a plan on how soon parents should be called.

In time the children do adjust to school and so does mom!
