Philosophy & Approach

School Philosophy

General Approach to Learning: Play-Based, Teacher-Led

From the Director:

Give your child the gift of the Spanish language through our comprehensive, hands-on academic preschool. The children experience all the joys of preschool - we just do it all in Spanish! Our unique curriculum teaches essential early childhood skills and prepares children for higher education. The children absorb the Spanish language and culture while acquiring these skills, therefore having the benefit of both education and language.

From the Director:

In our school, we believe that if a child experiences learning as fun and positive, he/she will become a life long learner. We focus on teaching the children to make good choices, making learning fun and hands-on, and keeping an energetic, positive attitude in our school at all times.

Quality of Teaching

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

We know that children learn at different paces. Due to our low ratios, our teachers can individualize and give each child what they need. Through one on one time and variety in teaching methods, each child is given the opportunity to learn new things everyday and progress academically as well as socially.

Day in the Life

General School Mission

We teach children naturally through play, activities, books and conversation. The children have a great time while acquiring the Spanish language and culture. In the world today, everyone needs to speak a second language and kids learn at an incredibly fast rate. Give your child the opportunity that only comes once. Let them learn a second language the fun, natural way while acquiring early childhood academics!

A Typical Day

Each day, your child will experience circle time, books, pre-math and pre-science activities, art, music and of course, immersion in the Spanish language. Throughout the year, he/she will enjoy many extra activities such as petting zoos, bike parades and fiestas.

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Extra staff dedicated to handle separation

Handling Separation: From the Director

We want the children to love coming to school! We know separation can be hard. We have a "Meet the Teacher" before school starts as well as extra staff for the first few weeks of school. Additionally, we always have a fun morning activity (painting or playing in shaving cream) so that the kids are distracted from the fear of separation. We give a lot of hugs everyday to every child so that the children feel positive and secure at school.
