  • Volunteer in the classroom
  • Receive newsletters

Modes of Communication

  • Email
  • Two or More Regular Conferences
  • Drop-Off
  • Pick-Up
  • Regular newsletter/printed updates circulated to the whole school

Separation

Separation is Handled through:

  • Pre-entry meetings with parents at school
  • Small group sessions
  • Abbreviated schedule at start of school year

Handling Separation: From the Director

Children have to opportunity to join us for a trial day. This allows the student to get acclimated with other students, teachers and the environment prior to their enrollment and makes for and easy transition into our regular schedule. Once enrolled students are paired with an established student or "buddy" who helps them throughout their day for as long as they need. This creates an instant friend and eliminates most separation anxiety.
