Creme is not your typical childcare or preschool, but rather an early learning center designed to make the most of the windows of opportunity in a child's brain development for S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering and math), music, art, second language and more...

Our daily curriculum is intentional and implemented with learning objectives while keeping each child's individual learning style in mind.

It's important to note that "82% of teachers surveyed in the U.S. agree that children who participate in early childhood education have a distinct advantage throughout their academic career." from: Knowledge Universe Early Childhood Education: A Benchmark for Long-Term Success

Good Morning America..."Its Disneyland because of the's Harvard because of the emphasis on education."

Good Morning America..."It's a preschool for the 21st century."

Philosophy & Approach

School Philosophy

General Approach to Learning: Play-Based, Teacher-Led

From the Director:

Our primary and enrichment classrooms reflect an environment similar to what children will experience in an elementary school setting. Children who experience the Creme environment will find it much easier to make the transition to formal school settings later. Brain development research demonstrates that children become more organized and more fluid in their thinking when their day is integrated with hands-on learning that is complimented with sensory and FUN.

Quality of Teaching

Individualized Teaching: From the Director

At Creme, our team provides your child with learning development, warmth, safety, healthy food, enchantment and positive guidance throughout the day. It begins with your child's primary teacher and his or her ongoing training in early childhood development by Creme. Our teachers are passionate about caring for and teaching children. It's easy for a Creme teacher to fill a child's day with academic mentoring, celebration, validation and warm hugs. Each member of our team is dedicated to empowering each child to do the best he/she can do.

Day in the Life

General School Mission

The Creme program evolved from the best of the best in early childhood learning science and not from one specific theory. It is designed with the knowledge that each child is a unique person with singular interests, goals and talent. Creme provides childcare of the highest quality; stressing a safe, secure environment; a nurturing, professional team; and the finest educational experiences.

A Typical Day

Children's attention spans are short. They need a constant exchange between passive and active activities. At Creme, children move between enrichment classrooms that work in concert with their ability to maintain attention. Brain development research findings indicate that the brain is more receptive to information and pays closer attention to information when things are new and different. Children are allowed to practice and reflect on what they have learned before moving to another room. According to Dr. Pam Schiller, practice and reflection are critcal steps in learning. Each step plays a role in assisting the brain in it's attempt to process information and store it in long term memory.

Home-School Connection

Home-School Connection: From the Director

We value our relationship with parents. In fact, we view our parents as our partners. Each day, parents are provided with a written report of their child's time at Creme so that they can keep pace with his or her social, emotional, and academic progress, as well as special experiences and achievements. Parent/Teacher conferences are formally scheduled twice a year. Parents may schedule a parent/teacher conference any time during the interim.
