Day in the Life

General School Mission

Our Mission at Zion Lutheran School is to provide quality Christian education in a loving Christ-centered environment, which equips children and families as lifetime witnesses of Christ in a diverse society.

To help fulfill this Mission, we have a tenured staff of professional educators instructing students at Zion. Most of our faculty members hold certification in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, and many hold Masters degrees.
The purpose of Zion Lutheran School is to provide Christian education in partnership with parents so that: children may be provided with a comprehensive program of education; children may be nurtured in the Word of God; children may, in faith, learn to know Jesus Christ; children, by God's grace, may experience a full Christian life; children may learn to recognize themselves as persons of worth; children may learn to understand and appreciate their talents and gifts.

Zion Lutheran School exists to nurture the whole child, addressing academic, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.
